Children in respite services

We understand that trusting others with your child/ children can be daunting, especially when they are staying the night in a different environment. Our respite services offer for one or more parents to stay with their children during respite. This allows the parent to join in, or out of the caring role at their leisure while being able to see their child is safe.

Respite from home

For some people leaving their home to go to a respite service can be outside of their comfort zone. We are able to offer in home respite, where family is able to stay at the respite service accommodation, while we stay with your loved one in a familiar environment. The aims are to allow the natural supports a break from their caring role, and evaluate in that person feeling comfortable to transition to respite outside the home.
